Anonymous said...: Following the emotional memorial on Feb. 12th the Hawaiian Surf Club had it's quartely meeting in San Onofre on Sunday the 13th. There was food and story telling along with friends and family members of uncle David. The mood was somber but celebratory as speaker after speake told of some experience they had shared with David Nuuhiwa Sr. it was hard to keep the tears out of our eyes as the life of this great man was laid out for us to see and remember. We all loved him and we share in the loss with his family. He loved the Hawaiian Surf Club and they loved him. Aloha and Mahalo. Jimmy Z; February 27, 2005
